In 1968, Michael Maloney Sr. started an estate planning practice in Detroit with one rule: know every client by name. Three generations later, that rule hasn't changed. The tools are better, but the people behind them still believe a handshake means something.
Michael Maloney Sr. opened his first insurance and estate planning practice, focused on building real relationships with every client who walked through the door.
Michael Sr. and his son Mike Jr. relocated to Arizona, establishing a new practice dedicated entirely to personal estate planning and financial services.
The firm evolved into a dedicated document preparation practice, introducing structured reviews and professional standards that still guide every estate plan today.
Michael III and Jennifer Mountain joined the team, bringing new energy while preserving the personal, family-first approach the firm was built on.
Now serving families nationwide, the Maloney family continues the legacy with the same belief that started it all: estate planning should be personal.

Founder · 1968 – 2025
Michael Sr. opened his first practice in Detroit in 1968 with a simple philosophy: know your clients by name, understand their families, and never treat estate planning like paperwork. He spent decades building relationships before documents, mentoring his son and daughter-in-law along the way. He passed in June 2025, but his principles remain the foundation of everything the firm does today.

Senior Estate Planner
Mike Jr. learned the business sitting across from his father in Detroit, watching him listen to clients before ever picking up a pen. In 1992, the two relocated to Arizona to build their own practice from the ground up. Over 30 years later, he still approaches every consultation the same way his father taught him: start with the family, not the forms.

President
Stephanie joined the family business over 35 years ago, starting in office administration before discovering a genuine calling for estate planning. Today she leads the firm as President, bringing the same warmth and personal attention to every client that first drew her to the work.

Estate Planner
The third generation. Mike III grew up watching his family serve others and officially joined the practice in 2020. A Cave Creek native and former Phoenix College athlete, he brings fresh energy to a business built on decades of trust and personal relationships.
Every estate plan passes through multiple hands before it reaches yours. Here are the people making sure nothing gets missed.

Michael Sr. never used the word “scalable.” He used the word “personal.” That distinction shaped how three generations of his family approach estate planning. Every client gets a real conversation, a customized plan, and a professional review before anything is finalized.
We learn about your family before we touch a single document. Every plan starts with a real conversation about what matters to you.
No templates, no auto-generated forms. Our certified team prepares your documents, and every page is professionally reviewed before it reaches you.
Trust-Based plans start at $2,000 for individuals and $2,500 for couples. Each plan includes one deed; additional property deeds are $200 each. Payment is due in full when your documents are delivered. No hourly billing, no hidden fees, no surprises.
